It was okay. Order the 3 chicken tender and 3 fish combo. I thought the fish was going to be bigger but it was ok size. Actually the friend fish was way better than the chicken tenders so I'm happy I didn't just get chicken. The mac n cheese was way too cheesy as you can see in the pictures. The biscuit looks over cooked but it was actually pretty good and I'm not a big bread eater. Place was clean, staff was professional so I give it a C+.

However I did have a glance into the kitchen and noticed that their sides are not from scratch by from canned. Even they use the Gloria canned foods I feel like if they can put as much effort into their sides as they do with their chicken then this would be famous. I do love the fact that they also serve Japanese hibachi foods b/c I used their yum yum sauce with my friend liver and gizards. If you're in the area and want to stay away from chains then this is the place to go.

I've only ever eaten chicken from here, but honestly once you have that, it will be hard for you to go the restaurant and order anything different. My go to meal, is the 6pc Barbecue chicken tenders with a side of fries. That also comes with a biscuit. The chicken tenders, fries and biscuit will honestly make you never return to KFC or Popeyes. They are honestly just that good! I promise you. I know Calvert County doesn't get that much tourist traffic (LOL) but visit this place if you just so happen to find yourself in Prince Frederick, MD!

And it's seasoned exactly right and always cooked perfectly. Have also had their chicken tenders which are really really good and plentiful. The place has zero ambience but the food is a GREAT value for the money. Highly recommend it.

This is an amazing little, hole-in-the-wall, chicken restaurant. Their chicken strips are the best I have ever tasted. The chicken strips are amazing, but the honey mustard sauce is out of this world. It's like crack - addictive, euphoric, and cheap. The best part is that they give you a huge amount of honey mustard (crack) sauce with each order of their chicken strips. I would recommend getting a 6-piece chicken strip combo. It comes with a side and a biscuit. The mashed potatoes and mac 'n cheese sides are delicious. I highly suggest getting a combo just so you can enjoy their buttery biscuits. I have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years and I have never once had bad service. Ordering is quick and easy, and if you are eating there, the food is always delivered to your table within five minutes. You will be totally satisfied after eating at Golden Chicken.

I love this place for the Hibachi grill. Service is outstanding. I'm always asking for a customized order due to diet. They are great about making adjustments for me and get it right every time. I like the vegetables so much, I usually order extra to go and eat them with another meal at home. :-)

The food was not good. They handed me a paper menu to look at when i came in, but would not honor the coupon on the menu they gave me because it was expired. There was no one in there and it still took almost 20 minutes to get my food. Very disappointed will never go back.

Chicken was great and the coleslaw was tasty but too small. Biscuit was good but you could tell it had been sitting around a little too long. If you've been here before; they've renovated the eating area. Don't know if they got new ownership or not but the place looks great. Much more comforting. The service was really fast and friendly.
